Mike Smart joined on 6 January 2025 as an external consultant supporting the delivery of the Data Warehouse initiative of the Data Strategy Implementation Programme (DSIP). Mike has worked in the field of Data and Analytics for nearly 20 years, providing leadership for the application of process and technology in private sector companies ranging from Vodafone to Lloyds Banking Group. Most recently Mike has led the data platform modernisation programme at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group (the UKs 4th largest charitable giving organisation).
Mike is working with the IT Services' Data Reporting, Architecture and Modelling (DRAM) team as part of the Data Strategy Implementation Programme (DSIP) within Digital Transformation. Speaking of his role Mike said:
