Full details of the vacancies for Trinity term can be viewed in University Gazette - 23 April on OxIntranet (SSO required).
All elections are conducted electronically. Candidates for nomination to one of the vacancies listed in the forms are asked to complete the relevant form, in full, and submit by 4pm on Thursday 14 May 2026. It will not be possible to accept nominations received after the deadline.
At least 4, but no more than 10, nominators are required to support nominations - e-mail addresses of nominators must be included in section 4 of the form.
Before completing the form, all candidates are asked to note the general eligibility requirements which apply to all committee members, as set out in Council Regulations 14 of 2002 (https://governance.admin.ox.ac.uk/legislation/council-regulations-14-of-...) as well as any specific criteria for the position for which they wish to stand.
Current members seeking re-election are asked to check with the committee secretary as to their eligibility with respect to any specific restrictions on consecutive service.
Each candidate for election is invited to submit a written statement, of no more than 250 words, setting out their reasons for standing and qualifications for the office being sought. In the event of a contested election, these statements will be made available to voters and published in the Gazette. To meet publication deadlines, statements must be submitted before the relevant closing date for nominations.
If you wish to stand for more than one vacancy, please complete separate forms for each vacancy.
