General Information about this constituency
This constituency is comprised of one person from the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics and the Radcliffe Department of Medicine elected jointly by the members of the Faculty of Biochemistry, the Faculty of Clinical Medicine, the Faculty of Physiological Sciences and the Faculty of Psychological Studies
Participation in these elections is restricted to full members of one of the four faculties within the Division of Medical Sciences (Biochemistry, Clinical Medicine, Physiological Sciences and Psychological Studies). Associate members or additional members of the faculties are not entitled to participate in these elections.
Elections to this constituency further restrict candidates to members of the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics and the Radcliffe Department of Medicine. This means that all members of Congregation are eligible to nominate a candidate or to vote, but prospective candidates who want to stand for election must be a member of the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics and the Radcliffe Department of Medicine.
The full term of office is four years (or less, when a by-election is held to fill the residue of the term of office for an elected member who is standing down early).
