Made by the General Purposes Committee of Council on 16 October 2008
1. The benefaction from the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund which comprises £803,715 together with any further donations for this purpose, shall create a new, permanent, scholarship fund for undergraduate students of Turkish descent, for any undergraduate course at the University, excluding Medicine, under the aegis of the Student Funding Services Office.
2. The University shall retain all of the benefaction as permanent endowment and shall apply the net income of this benefaction towards the support of this Scholarship.
3. The administration of the Fund, and the application of its income, shall be the responsibility of the Enhanced Bursary Committee.
