Craniological Collections from Department of Human Anatomy and Genetics: loan to British Museum

The Craniological Collections forming part of the anatomical and anthropological collection deposited in the Department of Human Anatomy and Genetics under the charge of Dr Lee’s Professor of Anatomy shall be transferred on permanent loan to the British Museum.

Boise Gift

The gift of £25,000 from Mr Charles Watson Boise (the interest on this sum to be used for research on the antiquity and origin of man and his precursors (with particular emphasis on the continued exploration of appropriate sites in Africa) and on the early migration of palaeolithic communities) shall be administered, until Council by decree shall otherwise determine, by a committee consisting of:

(1) the Professor of Biological Anthropology;

(2) the Professor of Geology;

(3) the Director of the Pitt Rivers Museum

(provided that, if any of these persons is unwilling or unable to act, he or she may appoint a deputy to act for him or her), with power to co-opt up to two additional members for such period or periods as the committee may determine.
