Part of Council Regulations 24 of 2002: Regulations for Academic and Other Posts
1. The Regius Professor of Hebrew shall lecture and give instruction in Hebrew language and literature.
2. The professor shall be subject to the General Provisions of the decree concerning the duties of professors and to those Particular Provisions of the same decree which are applicable to this chair.
3. The professorship shall not be annexed to a canonry at Christ Church but shall be allocated by Council, to such college as it shall, subject to the provisions of Sect. II, above, from time to time determine.
