1. The University accepts with gratitude the sum of £1,260, and any further sums which may be contributed for this purpose, to establish a Geoffrey Rhoades Commemorative Fund.
2. The income of the fund, after the payment of all proper expenses, shall be applied to the provision of bursaries, to be known as Geoffrey Rhoades Commemorative Bursaries, to be awarded from time to time to artists of promise studying for the degree of Bachelor of Fine Art.
3. The Committee for the Ruskin School of Art shall be the board of management of the fund, and shall determine the conditions under which the bursaries shall be awarded.
4. Council shall have power to alter this decree from time to time, provided that the main object of the fund, namely the provision of bursaries for artists of promise studying for the degree of Bachelor of Fine Art, for the furtherance of their studies, is always kept in view.
