Part of Council Regulations 25 of 2002: Trust Regulations
1. The University accepts with gratitude the sum of £100,000 to establish a fund in memory of Alireza and Mohammed Soudavar to be called the Alireza and Mohammed Soudavar Memorial Fund. The net income of the fund shall be used to provide scholarships for students from Iran, or from any countries which the University may from time to time regard as ‘third world’ countries, to enable them to undertake a course of study at the University.
2. The fund shall be administered by a board of management to be designated or appointed by Council, and the board shall determine the conditions of award of such scholarships, their several value and tenure, and the eligibility of candidates.
