Part of Council Regulations 25 of 2002: Trust Regulations
1. The University accepts with gratitude the bequest of £3,000 and interest thereon from the late Pearson John Stutchbury to establish a fund, the net income of which is to be applied to a scholarship, to be known as the Stutchbury Scholarship, for the furtherance of scientific knowledge and investigation in such manner as the University may in its uncontrolled discretion direct.
2. The Board of the Faculty of Physiological Sciences shall be the board of management of the fund and shall determine the conditions of award of the Stutchbury Scholarship, its value and tenure from time to time, and the eligibility of candidates.
3. In any alteration of this decree the main object of the founder, namely the award of Stutchbury Scholarships for the furtherance of scientific knowledge and investigation, shall always be kept in view.
